Keep "Me" Happy and Healthy!
Drink water and stay hydrated to prevent urethritis.
Have enough rest.
Keep a balanced diet.
Have regular check-ups.
Pay attention to personal hygiene.
Do not engage in excessive vaginal douching. It can reduce healthy bacteria that protects the vagina from infection.
Keep the vaginal and surrounding area clean. You should wipe from front to back after bowel movement and from back to front after urination.
It is best to choose underwear made with cotton. Wear loose fitted clothing instead of tight-fitting ones.
When you discover any abnormalities in your genital areas (e.g., vaginal discharge, pain, etc.),
seek immediate medical consultation.
Do not take anti-inflammatory or antibiotics without medical consultation as it can lead to drug resistance.
Practise safe sex and minimise the number of sexual partners.
Use condoms every time you have sex unless you are trying to get pregnant.
Perform a health-check prior to planning pregnancy.
Patients with chronic illness should pay extra attention, such as controlling the blood glucose level.
